ENCHANTED FOR A DAY

A Journey into the Heart of Bhakti

with Purnama and Pavan of the Hanuman Project

April 26th, 2026

1 PM - 8 PM (Full Event - Limited Space)

6 - 8 PM (Cacao & Kirtan open to Public)

Join Purnama and Pavan of the Hanuman Project for a half-day long immersion of devotion in Bali.

Featuring voice opening, sacred chant exploration and Balinese cultural immersion, Cacao Ritual and a final Ecstatic Kirtan - a rare intimate journey into the power of sound, story, and bhakti.

EVENT FLOW

Our journey together starts with the weaving of our own Balinese offering baskets, also known as canang - deepening what it means to be in devotion, and receiving the ancient wisdom of the island of Bali.

From there, we move over to gentle voice liberation practices, opening the body, release tension and awaken the natural resonance within us. All levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced singers. We will explore singing not as performance, but a devotional practice, rediscovering the voice as a living instrument of expression, prayer, and joy.

Then, we step into the timeless tradition of kirtan. Together we will learn and explore mantras and bhajans, carried by the call-and-response energy that has gathered communities in song for centuries. Along the way, stories of Radha and Krishna, and the Rasa Bihari will be woven in, offering glimpses into the heart of the Bhakti path.

Unlike the larger Hanuman Project gatherings known around the world, this immersion is held in a smaller and more intimate circle. With fewer voices in the room, there is more space to listen, to learn, and to drop fully into the shared experience of chanting together.

After a dinner break, our day ends with a kirtan and cacao ritual that invites a larger community, as we dive into an ecstatic space of Bhakti together.

Bring your voice, your curiosity, and your heart - and let the rest unfold in song.
