Join this 10-Day Soul Journey into the ocean of devotion, we invite you to our 100 Hr Training in Uluwatu, Bali.
Spend 10 days immersed in the Bhakti Yoga tradition of heart-centered practices, including yoga, meditation, tantra, mantras, chanting, harmonium lessons, playtime, kirtan, songs around the firepit and so much more. Be in community, surround yourself in sacred circle, move ecstatically to unearth your soul and create new life plans to live your dreams. This is Bhakti bliss!
We’ll explore ‘Kirtan on the Mat’, ecstatic movement, mantras as energy vs. meaning, storytelling from the Vedas and Puranas, playing the harmonium, leading kirtan, what devotion means in our individual lives and for the collective, Hindustani vocal practices, meditation with Yantras, Balinese temple ceremony, energy activations, and much more!

Ancient Mantras and Sacred Sound: In the beginning was “the word”, AUM, OM, Naad, Sound, the Big Bang. Whatever you want to call it, it’s all the same. Learn, explore and practice the ancient meanings, translations, interpretations and essence of ancient Sanskrit mantras, their significance and importance to spiritual development.

Compliment Your Skillset: If you’re already teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin or other styles of Yoga, adding bhakti is a beautiful and complimentary addition to your existing yoga classes and a wonderful way to further connect with your existing students or expand and attract new ones.

Learn a New Instrument! The Harmonium is a wind instrument and has several reeds (male and female) tuned to create its individual sound and vibration. While its origins are from the West’s piano like Organ, the Harmonium was made popular in India and is the predominant instrument found in spiritual folk music known as Kirtan.

Power of Your Voice! There is great strength, power and confidence when you know how impactful your voice to the world can be. Bhakti, devotional singing and devotion isn’t about how “good” you can sing or not, it’s about connecting your vibrational frequency to the devotional frequency of the Universe so that your Heart connects with the Hearts of everyone else. * Group excursions include: visit to a special Balinese Temple for Water Blessing meditation + Spa with Sauna / Cold + Hot Plunges + Sunset Meditation at world famous beach in Uluwatu.
The Teacher
Audrey Sarquilla, E-RYT 500
Bhakta, Tantrika, Yogini, Audrey shares yoga from 30 years of a multi-lineage journey and the depth of her own Sadhana. Teaching yoga for over 20 years, her invitation to students is to remember ultimately this is ‘your’ unique yoga journey.
As a Teacher’s Teacher, she founded a Yoga school in 2013, now called Saraswati Bhakti Academy, and owned a yoga studio in California. Audrey has studied Kashmir Trika Shivaism on the Ganges in Varanasi and Bhakti in the Himalayas. She is inaugurated in a Balinese spiritual lineage under two High Priests and calls Bali her home.
Audrey offers yoga and Bhakti Sankirtanam through retreats, workshops, teacher trainings, an online platform and through her devotional music.
